For a long, long time, Ghoul sort of just stares at the text message. And very, very slowly, he smiles. He curls up on his bed, and texts her back, slow and a little hesitant. ]

[ This is hard for him. He's good at words but not these kind of words, and he always looks for ways around saying what he wants to say. ]

Glen reads that blinks and blinks some more because... wow.

People don't say that to her. She doesn't save anyone, she... it should be the opposite, past experience has led her to believe it's always the opposite. Not recently, though. Not always. She's saved a few people so far, even saved Ghoul at least once.

If Ghoul thinks he's bad at these kinds of sincere words, Glen feels she's got to be even worse. She just spends a few minutes reading and re-reading his words, because they seem pretty fucking great to her and she doesn't know what to say back. Got to say something, though, so she does. ]

Took the words right out of my mouth. Read what you wrote back to yourself and hear it in my voice.

It's mutual, completely mutual. You're giving me so much back, and it really is a miracle, isn't it?
